Field Care Supervisor Job in Enfield
New Directions, part of leading national care provider Carewatch, is based in Enfield and is now looking to recruit an experienced full time Field Care Supervisor.
As a specialist support service, New Directions provides help to individuals in the community who may be living with mental health illness, learning disabilities, and/or physical disabilities. Our aim is to help our clients to live a full and independent life, feeling included in their community and helping them to achieve personal, academic or career goals.
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for enabling the delivery of the highest standard of care, ensuring that client needs are met through assessment and preparation of personalised care and support plans.
You will also support and develop a team of Care and Support Workers to deliver a person centred, flexible, efficient and reliable service at all times.
Duties of a Field Care Supervisor includes:
To develop person-centred customer needs assessments, creating care/ support plans and carry out risk assessments
Organise, attend and conduct customer reviews to refresh and update the needs assessment, care/support plan and risk assessment documentation as appropriate
When using administrative systems, ensure factual, accurate information is held and that all computerised and manual records are up to date
To work together with the Care Co-ordinator to ensure an appropriate Care and Support Worker is matched to the needs of the customer at all times
To undertake on-call activities as directed
Assist Care Co-ordinators to allocate unassigned calls to ensure that all customers receive the care they need
Communicate effectively with the Care Co-ordinator to inform them of changes to care schedules
Implement quality control procedures and processes to ensure the Company Office achieves the required level of compliance at all times
To follow local, national and contractual regulation including the reporting of safeguarding and complaints
To ensure health and safety legislation is adhered to at all times
Other duties as required
The successful applicant will possess supervision experience within the health and social care sector and will also have previous hands on Care experience. The ability to undertake customer needs assessments, writing care plans and conducting risk assessments are also essential.
